Peter G. Bracuti concentrates his practice upon all areas of matrimonial and family law, including child custody, prenuptial agreements and domestic violence. In addition to family law, he is also experienced in and regularly practices in the areas of guardianship actions, criminal law, municipal court and appellate practice. He is known within and outside the firm for his attention to detail and fierce advocacy on behalf of his clients, and for his ability to put his clients at ease during an otherwise stressful time in their lives. Peter takes pride in helping clients find practical solutions to even the most difficult and taxing problems.
An alumnus of both Seton Hall University and Seton Hall University School of Law, Peter served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Terence P. Flynn, J.S.C. in the Family Division of the Superior Court in Essex County from 1999 to 2000. His experience in the Family Division contributed to his decision to practice in the area of matrimonial and family law. In 2010, Peter was a presenter at the Mid-Year New Jersey Bar Association Conference, speaking to the Family Law Section on the topic of Alternative ‘Palimony’ Remedies and their Proofs.
Peter is committed to serving his clients and the legal community, and has served as a past member of the Essex County Subcommittee on Domestic Violence. Peter’s dedication to his work has led to his recognition in New Jersey Monthly magazine’s “Super Lawyers – Rising Stars,” from 2009 through 2013.
