Allison joined the firm in 2014.  She has been a practicing attorney since her admission to the New Jersey Bar in 2003.  Allison is also admitted to practice law in New York. Allison’s practice is devoted exclusively to family law and related matters, including divorce proceedings and dissolution of civil unions, post-divorce disputes, including modification of agreements and orders, child custody and parenting time related issues, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, Department of Child Protection and Permanency proceedings, and domestic violence disputes. In addition to being an experienced and tenacious litigator, Allison is trained as a Collaborative Law Attorney. Allison understands that clients are seeking counsel during one of the most emotionally difficult and financially challenging times in their lives.  She approaches each matter with compassion and the understanding that each client has a unique set of challenges and financial and emotional goals which must be addressed individually. Allison works very hard with each client to meet his or her goals.

Allison earned her undergraduate degree from Boston College in 1998. She graduated from Rutgers Law School – Newark in 2003 where she served as an editor of the Rutgers Law Review and a board member of the Rutgers Public Interest Law Foundation. Prior to joining Gomperts Penza and McDermott, LLC, Allison practiced commercial litigation for two law firms in New York City.
